I’ve had the pleasure of leading two inspiring and successful mixed media sketchbook retreats in Europe: a week-long creative escape in vibrant Valencia, Spain, and a three-day immersive retreat in the charming hilltop village of Monsaraz, Portugal.
These retreats are designed to be a perfect blend of creativity, connection, and exploration. Guests enjoy enriching art lessons and live demonstrations focused on mixed media techniques and color theory, alongside ample time to paint on location. Whether capturing the beauty of historic Valencia or the breathtaking landscapes of rural Portugal, each day is filled with artistic discovery.
Our time together also includes delicious local cuisine, regional wines, and the opportunity to build lasting friendships with fellow creatives. Many participants describe the experience as both magical and transformative.
